Are you having to put up with stubborn areas of localised fat that simply won't
shift, even though you've tried dieting and exercise?
It's a common problem for both men and women and it can be very demoralising.
Well, here's the good news. It's very easy indeed to get rid of excess fat.
excess fat removal
Liposculpture is not a substitute for losing weight, but rather a method of reshaping
your body by getting rid of localised fat that is resistant to diet and exercise.
Liposculpture can enhance your appearance and your self confidence enormously, but it
is important to have realistic expectations. It is neither possible nor cosmetically
desirable to remove 100% of the fat in an area.
The surgeon will aim for a result that
is going to be pleasing to the eye, carefully attempting to achieve your goals, whilst
working within the limitations of your natural muscle share and bone structure. Results
of liposculpture can be spectacular but is it not realistic to expect perfection. It
is impossible to guarantee the precise degree of improvement that will result, though
if you would be happy with 50% improvement or better, then your expectations are likely
to be met in abundance

liposculpture
Although Lipoplasty - or to use its
more popular name, Liposculpture, might sound like a major procedure, surgeons
from the Franklynn Centre frequently carry out Liposculpture treatment under
local anaesthetic with the patient returning home the same day. For women, the
areas most commonly treated are the thighs, hips, buttocks, stomach, knees,
lower leg, cheeks and double chin.
For men, it's the flanks - often known as "love handles" - chest
and abdomen. Liposculpture actually draws out unwanted localised deposits of
fat cells from the body, by inserting a suction tube through a tiny and
inconspicuous incision.
It's important to be aware that Liposculpture is not a treatment for either
obesity or cellulite, nor is it a substitute for weight loss. What it does - and
to great effect - is reshape previously bulging areas of the body, creating
trimmer, smoother contours.
Better still, fat cells removed by Liposculpture cannot return. This is because
the body does not create new fat cells after the age of puberty. So with
Liposculpture, once those unwanted fat cells have gone, they've gone for good.

tummy tuck
Abdominoplasty or “tummy tuck” is the surgical correction of a large abdomen, usually
by removal of excess fat and skin and tightening underlying muscles to give a flatter
looking tummy. Whilst abdominoplasty itself is not a useful weight loss tool, it is
frequently very helpful after weight loss when sagging skin makes it more difficult
to wear clothes that fit well.
Although “tummy tuck” sounds modest and simple, abdominoplasty is invasive surgery
and you will usually be in hospital for two days. Ordinary activities can normally be
resumed a few days after surgery, as long as they don’t cause discomfort. Driving a car
can usually be resumed after the first week although strenuous activity could cause a
wider scar and should be avoided for 6 weeks. Liposuction might be a better option
than a tummy tuck where there is localised fat only. Where there is a large excess of
skin, however, simply removing fat would make the skin excess even worse.
Health Warning
All surgery, including cosmetic surgery has a small complication rate, even
when it has been performed expertly, so ensure that your clinician informs you
fully about risks and possible side effects of treatment.
